I am so happy to be able to start working again as a photographer of people. Over lockdown and the last 4 months I have been busy with work on my business but have enjoyed shooting with a new camera as well as working out a new way of working within the new rules and world without compromising on getting great shots for my clients. I have trialled with success socially distanced headshot sessions, photographed a socially distanced funeral and a zoom wedding! It is has been an interesting, humbling and educating time!
However I am very happy indeed to say that shoots are now starting to take place, as clients get their hair cuts and get back to some normality and the restrictions loosen for shooting weddings and family sessions etc outside. Over the summer I am looking forward to some family sessions and in a few weeks a Covid19 affected wedding for Sophie and Joe who were to marry in Brighton this year with a full complement of guests and traditional wedding, but are now marrying with 25 guests in St James’s Church Hampton Hill complete with social distancing rules. I know this wedding will be not the one they were hoping for but it will be real and quirky (hand washing as they come into and out of the church included!) special and memorable. I am so much looking forward to being with them and giving it 110 percent. They are planning a big party next year in Brighton but for now they just want to be married!
If you are thinking of going ahead with a smaller scale wedding, a family shoot, a headshot or portrait session either here in my studio in Teddington or somewhere specific, please get in touch. I’d love to hear from you.
